Vauxhall Corsa Arrives!
We’ve just bought our third car! It’s a Vauxhall Corsa Comfort, powered by a nippy and economical turbo-diesel engine. With a hatchback, it can swallow a lot of shopping, and the power steering makes it easy to drive. It’s currently stationed at 1 Preston Grove, which puts even more Yeovil households within a 10-minute walk or 5-minute cycle ride of a Yeovil Car Pool vehicle.
Fans of our little red Fiat Punto will be pleased to hear that it remains on the fleet, stationed at Preston Road.
What an Upstart!
Upstart Services has become Yeovil Car Pool’s first corporate member. The South Petherton-based company provides start-up advice to co-operatives and Community Interest Companies. Alex Lawrie of Upstart said: “Car pool membership has proved very handy, giving us the use of car when we need it, without the expense of maintaining our own company vehicle.”
Vauxhall Zafira Still Available
Yeovil Car Pool’s Vauxhall Zafira, based at our office at Preston Road in Yeovil, remains a favourite for family days out. Many car pools only offer small hatchbacks, but we’ve always offered the option of this economical, spacious people carrier.
